Let’s Talk Fitness…

Let’s be real people, going to the gym can be very tough for some of us… well most of us. As much as I love going to the gym and getting a good sweat on I do sometimes find it difficult to get motivated to go if I am not in the mood or right mindset. SO… here are my tips to get your butt to the gym and get that sweat on! First of all, what is your motivation that initially got you going to the gym? Refresh your memory! Sometimes remembering why you wanted to begin a fitness journey can change your whole mindset on whether or not you should be putting in some time at the gym. “I mentally want to go the gym but phsically I feel like I cannot get up!” We’ve all been here people that’s what pre-work is for! I highly recommend pre-work as it pumps you body up and physically gets you going and excited to get a pump on. Remember people, before going to the gym try being mentally and phsycially ready for the challenge as you don’t want to be wasting you time at the gym! Yes, I’m happy you got yourself up and going but you’re not going to be happy with the amount of work you’re putting in and the time you’re wasting! Time is VERY valuable! So, let’s say you’re still struggling to get yourself to the gym… no worries my friends this is going to happen to all of us! You know you’re time is valuble and you have no time to waste so here is another tip I have for you! Before going to the gym watch some inspirational videos, watch a youtuber’s doing their workouts, look at some motivational pictures of a potential goal bodies you would like. Looking at this future body you desire to have should change your mindset as you will be thinking, “Wow, I want to look like this.” You will crave this body type and fitness level and work for it! Keeping this particular image as a backgrond on your phone is not a horrible idea as it recalls the feeling you recieve from your brain and reminds you, you want to work for it. On that note, following pages and profiles can certainly keep this recalling motivation method alive as you will be constantly reminded even when you’re scrolling on instagram for example to go to the gym and get a sweat on!
